Megan’s research explores design as a material and embodied practice that signals human authorship. Through installations and experimental publishing, her work investigates society’s growing disconnection from the physical world and our desensitization to environmental urgency. The use of analog methods in her practice resists the efficiency and polish of digital production, and emphasizes the process, materiality, and participation behind designed artifacts. 

Megan is an Assistant Professor at Washington University in St. Louis, where she serves as coordinator of the Book Studio and the newly established Analog Design Lab. She received her MFA in Graphic Design at Maryland Institute College of Art.
