Typographic Tourism

This daily practice examines man-made and natural structures around the world as inspiration for custom letterforms and typographic constructs. The weight, contrast, movement, shape, and style of characters were designed to emulate these global structures. Letterforms were concepted and sketched from photographic imagery, and translated digitally as a proof of concept for a typeface. The typefaces were then paired with their visual inspiration in a set of postcards.
